How do we know it is not rigged?
We see the main draw but not the raffle.

How do we know it is not rigged? We see the main draw but not the raffle. i think it's definitely rigged. So do I. I think half the money goes in raffle so only 25% of them money is in the draw if that is correct, which is a poor return. I might do some sort of accumulator, either horse or football on things with fairly long odds ie maybe 6 10-1 horse gives 1 million to 1, so I'd put a £1 on that. Or maybe pick some other stuff. It would be better value I think. Even if I am only getting 90% of the true value the accumulator would pay 53% overall more than the lottery. But you can get better than that is some event, 96 or 97% which would pay out about 80% of true value. I have been doing OK on some stuff I backed, such as Trump at 16-1 now about 3-1 and also Leicester to win the Premiership at 33-1 and 28-1 now at 8-1 (although I also back them at 10-1 initially but the odds went out after some bad results so I backed them again. 16-1 and 33-1 in a double is about 500-1, so another two like that gives 250-1. Add on a 4-1 shot to get 1 million-1. Trouble is it takes a bit more effort than picking numbers, but I could also pick stuff randomly rather than things I though were good value.
