£1.50 each, I got 3 for £2.70 they are good quality, better than the cheaper ones I got from Poundland before, longer metal neck. They don't last forever so may as well get 3 plus you will likely misplace one at some time.

I just remember the Poundland ones came with a refill bottle of gas so I guess that made them good value even if the lighter it self was not so good quality.
YOu can get some good bargains at Poundlandaqnd on Ebay but ebay seems to have got more expensive, I used to get cheap recharagable batteries there but they have much more expensive now, but maybe they are better quality.
I think the Poundland rechargable batteries are probable best value now, two 350mA batteries for £1. Cheapest on ebay is £2.55
I used to by supposedly 1800mA batteries on Ebay but I doubt they were 1800mA but they were cheap so I didn't care. can't get them cheap anymore.
Trouble is with Poundland is with inflation what you can get for a £1 becomes very limited but there are still some good buys there.

Yes I go a very cheaper chord for my shaver but if you bend the chord wrong the power stops. I have had loads of power chords that end up breaking. I am considering making one myself
The cable was also shorter than usual... HOWEVER.. I think the problem may be with the shaver, ie where you plug it into the shaver, or at least that there can be problem with the chord and the connection which kind of explains why I have had such trouble understanding it, ie it is two problem not one.
To explain, if the shaver is lying flat and the power chord hanging down the power indicator might be lit , but if I rotate the shaver 180 degrees so the cord is being pulled the other way the power indicator will go off. But there can also be a break in the cable which you can fix somewhat by bending the cable a certain way, however that might also affect the other fault, which I was not aware of untill now, causing much puzzlement.
Any how I just got a piece of thin card and stuck it in where the power plug goes to make it lean the way that best makes a connection and it has fixed it!!!
Another good thing is the card stops the plug dropping out as much as it used to, mind you the plug coming out easily is not so much a bad thing as every now an again I will catch the power cable with my foot when it is on the ground, which may have been what damaged it in the first place. But it might be that it is a universal adaptor that does not quite fit properly.
Anyhow it works great now, so that little bit of card has saved me a fair bit of time and money. (about £2.40 for the last chord, but I paid about £4 in the past.
I also saw this chord with a USB connection
Which was 99p so I gave it a go (I am a real sucker for buy stuff £1 or 99p!) but it will not work, seens the shave is 15V and usb 5V, maybe I should have checked.
However it might still be a good buy if I can splice the chord onto a working power plug that has a broken chord attached, I must have about 5 with broken chords!!

sounds like its been a bad connection the bad connection also makes the prongs on the shaver part corrode and this make a even worse connection im constantly breaking the usb cables for the phone at the phone end, if i dont plug it in properly a certain way it wont charge

Well at least they are pretty cheap, I guess they get flexed a lot at that end same as my shaver, ie if you use it plugged in.
