oh sorry about that never saw your post before, the notification system seems to have missed it.
Yes the internet has it's ups and down, I order something form ebay clcick and collect and it has not arrived, I am trying to get my money back but so far they have been of not help I've heard nothing from them about it, they said will make a decision in 30 days, but that is way too long in what should be a straightforward case. So 30 days of worry.

I dont think it was the seller fault, it was the click and collect place that screwed up. However the seller never put a return address on it, so he only has himself to blame, if he had even if he was not in he could have got it from the post office. Indeed he could have put my home address as a return address. So he took the risk and lost out, I do blame the C&C point more though. I am not sure what is happening with the C&C point, I would not want to use them again unless I am sure they have their act together, but it would be quite handy for me. The shop would have got a lot more business too but they don't seem too bothered.

The shop would have got a lot more business too but they don't seem too bothered. a lot of people on ebay are crooks The seller was not a crook, he sent the item however the click and collect place refused the item and as it has no return address royal mail will "destroy" the item, in reality a postman will have it, most usually reappear on ebay apparently. I eventually got a refund from paypal, but they will take the money from the sellers account I think, even though he sent the item, I think the problem is with ebay and the click and collect place. So I'd feel a bit bad if the seller lost out. Really ebay and click and collect need to sort their act out, I don't know if I can use that click and collect point again, they might just refuse the item again. I tried speaking to the owner but that was a waste of time. I think they are still on ebays system but it is had to be sure of anything. Are ebay using a click and collect point that doee not collect? Hard to be sure and ebay don't seem to care about it, there is not easy way to report it.

I've never used click and collect while buying from ebay and never will. I've only had one item never turn up in the post and that was more than likely because it wasn't sent, i had to chase the seller to send it in the first place and then she was very evasive about when and how she sent it, so she got feedback and i got my money back. I would only buy from ebay if there is no other viable option.

I would only buy from ebay if there is no other viable option. Was the first time I used it maybe the last. It would be fine if I could be sure it would work but I'm doubtful know. Problem with leaving feedback is they might do the same! I will leave the seller positive or no feedback. "Full refund for item lost by click and collect shop" I think. Some things are not easy to get in the shops, I got this 5 button mouse for £2.30 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-4GHz-Wireless-Mice-2000dpi-USB-Optical-Scroll-Mouse-for-Tablet-Laptop-Computer/381722631087?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Dc02c4566edf1449692427b7239958e84%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dlo%26sd%3D391567572817%26itm%3D381722631087&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Ab15b2df2-f09b-11e8-9b80-74dbd18077ba%7Cparentrq%3A4a623f701670ab6be4293d13fff3f9d3%7Ciid%3A1However a (not same) similar cheap mouse failed quite quickly (wheel failed) this one seems fine, only issue is it does not automatically wake up after a long period of inactivity, i need to switch off and on, however it is great on batteries, I seemed to be having to recharge them every few days on my old Textet mouse (£10, sometimes on the same day on older batteries. These have been on the same batteries for weeks so I ordered another while I can.

anyway , what's your view on the Brexit "deal" Kronks? I was kind of hoping that the whole thing would lead to a general election to get rid of the Tories but then labour might be worse, they only help their union paymasters. We would probably have been better off saying no deal right from the start and then doing a trade deal from outside the EU, we would have got it done quickly that way as it benefits both sides. As it is all we have is uncertainly leaving us in limbo people can't plan, they don't know where we are. The Northern Ireland border is a problem though and always was going to be. They should make the EU border the whole of Ireland and just have a soft-border in Ireland. I think they need an election such that the DUP don't hold the balance of power. It was always gonna be problematic, but if we leave we get certainty and it will be in everyone interest so sort out a trade deal. As it is we could be in limbo forever.

Swearing on the internet does not generally bother me much, if it is good enough for the Oxford English dictionary it is good enough for me! It is after all part of the language, and useful in expressing outrage!

I don't want to pay the fees for someone wasting their time doing gender studies and other stupid courses! It is fine if you are a student and I went to uni, but not so many went when I went, it is much more now.
