I don't think it is gonna be as good as the last one. Might be headed for a draw.

The advantage did not last long, and had I made the wrong move then I would have been in checkmate!
My advantage has all but gone, I might still be a pawn to two up, whether I can make use of the advantage remains to be seen!!

bugger i was hoping you hadnt noticed the trap, i was aware of it from the time i moved the pawn up there and was just glad that you didnt take it but yes at least a bonus on my part to get a little bit back anyways

Yea I could easily have made a mistake there. However I still ended up losing my bishop, I think maybe I
could have done better earlier to avoid that, but I didn't like having my king kind of trapped lilke that so I concentrated on giving it an escaped route, looks like that cost me the the bishop, but if I had not I might have been even worse.
I still have a slim two pawn advantage, question is can I make it count, I guess in theory it should but theory is one thing and practise another.
It has been a good game though better than I expect , I though it might be an easy win at one point but it does not look so easy now.

The game has been better than I expected too, I thought about taking your rook but it would have given you a past pawn and I didn't fancy that at the time.

Yes it is all very tricky, I dunno if I can win now and indeed you might win or it might be a draw!!!
But putting you in check give me a breathing space wihtout that it would be game over, still might be we shall see!
Interesting stuff!

yes the check was a bonus for you but i couldnt get away from stopping it i dont think this chess program is able to declare a draw you need to get a pawn to make queen to have a chance of winning outright

Yea I looks like at best I can get a draw, might even end up losing, looking back I think I made a few mistakes late on, a couple I think.

Well thanks for that but I am not sure I could not have got a queen anyway. I had thought if you had taken the pawn on E5 that I could not queen and if I move it down one to be protected by my rook then I could not move the pawn to queen on e1 then you could take it as it is unprotected, plus I can't move my rook to the f1 to protect as you could take the pawn when on 2e. But then I realise you must keep your rook on the e file else I could queen thus I could bring my king into the game when you are stuck on the e-file. So it might be something like this where I win, I could not see that earlier, but I just tried it out on a practise board and I think I could have won, not 100 sure though, might have missed something, but it would have been interesting to see how it went! (1... e2 2. Re4 Kg6 3. Ke5 (3. Re5 Rf6+ 4. Kd5 (4. Kd7 Rf2 5. Re6+ Kf5 6. Kd6 Kf4 7. Kd5 Kf3 8. Kd4 Rf1 9. Rxe2 Kxe2 10. Kd5 Rf4 11. Kd6 Ke3 12. Kd5 Re4 13. Kd6 Kd4 14. Kc6 Re5 15. Kd6 Re4 16. Not sure as it put 3... Kg5 4. Re3 Kg4 5. Ke4 (5. Kd5 Kf4)) ay the end.
It is hard to follow you should have taken the pawn as see how it went!

yes i see what you mean, i didnt think that move through, i wasnt sure if you would take the rook was my thinking but my king is in the centre this time so will be hard for you to trap it

You did you forced me into some errors I think and I am not sure I would have one, at one point I was
sure I would lose but then I saw something after a couple of move that made me change my mind and thing I could win, but I am not 100% sure either but from 3 pawns up I should have won fairly easily but I was struggling.
